Group MYNAME will be holding their first solo concert on 2nd March, just 1 year and 6 months after their debut. They are promoting their recently released song ‘Just That Little Thing’ and are spending everyday sweating in their practice room till early morning to create a perfect concert.
Rookie group MYNAME, who will be having their solo concert which every singer dreams of, shares their feelings by saying, “We’re thrilled since it’s our first concert. We do have experience having our own concert in Japan, but we are really looking forward to this since we wanted to hold one in Korea. But we are more pressured.”
They added, “Of course our practice sessions till early morning is tough, but we are more worried about how to make the audience, who bought tickets and will come to see us, feel satisfied. That pressure is really huge so even though practice session ends, we have additional practices for singing.”
How did they feel when they first heard the news about their concert? MYNAME replied, “We were more worried rather than thinking about Hwanhee.” They now also recognize the concern the public has.
“We still get a lot of bad attention rather than good ones. We’ve heard things like ‘It hasn’t been long since their debut, so what concert?’ and there are those who are concerned that we don’t have many songs. We are very worried about what we show you on stage rather than feeling happy about it, but nothing is solved if we only worry about it, so we strive to show a variety of performances and prepared a lot. On 21st September, Lee Seunggi doppelganger JunQ was introduced on MYNAME’s official twitter, receiving a lot of interest. Following that, photos of the remaining 2 members were revealed.
The members who are introduced this time are team maknae Chaejin(real name Chae Jinsuk) and leader Gunwoo(real name Lee Gunwoo).With the faces of all 5 members revealed, the countdown to their debut has begun. They draw attention with Chaejin’s soft and cute youngest sibling looks, and leader Gunwoo’s chic looks.
Born in 1995, Chaejin is currently attending Seoul Performing Arts High School and is the sub-vocals in the team. Leader Gunwoo is the team’s lead vocals, and is said to have superior vocal abilities.
A representative of H2Media said, “Thank you for the great interest in the group even before their debut. For that, they have prepared an outstanding performance and song, full of their charms. As their debut day is fast approaching, the members are practicing hard to prevent nervousness.
