[Trans - Interview] [Hot Debut Diary] MYNAME Insoo① “I fought with my lonely self until I became a trainee”
After throwing their hat into the pop world’s ring last October 28th with their first debut single album, MYNAME returns after an 8-month break with ‘Hello & Good Bye’. They revealed their shocking debut tactics through Issue Daily’s ‘Hot Debut Story’. MYNAME also became a topic as ‘Hwanhee Boys’, and was under the command of Fly To The Sky’s Hwanhee while preparing to be singers. They revealed all the episodes they had from the moment they dreamed of becoming singers until now, after they’ve realized their dreams. The kind and bright mood-maker Insoo’s story starts now.
Before Insoo made his debut as a MYNAME member, he showed off his excellent vocal skills and remarkable dancing through the audition program ‘Superstar K’. After that, many agencies who saw his potential sent him love calls. But Insoo turn down all their offers and chose his current agency H2Media. Insoo explained the reason by only saying “It was because of Hwanhee Hyung.”
“I received a lot of love calls from many agencies but I personally wanted to go through an audition with Hwanhee Hyung. One day, I heard they were having an audition so I immediately participated. Rather than thinking that I want to quickly debut, I went for the auditions thinking I want to learn a lot from him. At that time, I was full of confidence. But I was eliminated during the auditions.”
