MYNAME, who will make debut in Japan on 7/25 under Yoshimoto Kogyo with a song 「Message」（Japanese ver.), will also make their debut in “comic” on 7/5 under Sho-gakkan, “Sho-Comi” which heralded their debut in the music scene.
Sho-Comi is most popular girls’ comic and is aimed at the teenage market.
This time, the title of the serial comic of MYNAME is『Try to start living together with princess』. In this comic, they appear as themselves. The story is about a girl whose father runs an entertainment company, and a Korean idol group MYNAME joined that company. The girl and MYNAME start to live together in the girl’s house cum office. It will describe their love story in their life. Of course this story is all fiction, and in the 1st episode, Seyong plays the leading role and it’s described that there is a scene that make fans’ heart pound.
Before starting serial comic this time, Nagisa Odagiri, an author of this comic, went to Korea and communicated with MYNAME to collect data in order to describe them more realistically.
At press conference, Hosokawa-ssi who is a chief editor of Sho-Comi, explained the reason why she chose MYNAME as the role models of this comic. “I noticed the theme as ‘living together’ which is a standard theme in girls’ comic, and I thought it’s fun if I would write this theme with K-POP idol. I’m sure MYNAME’s character, looks and everything are just right for this comic.”
This series of Sho-Comi is planed to be published 3 times, 7/5,7/20,8/5.
Moreover, K-fan★me is planning to show enthusiasm for this serial comic. It will start on7/5. We’ll put out movies about off shot of interview on K-fan★me official YouTube channel！
