[Trans - Interview] The reason why MYNAME can’t give their all in Korean promotions
[TV Report = Kim Yena reporter] It’s their 3rd year since debut, and they have earned a stable fanbase while traveling back and forth between Korea and Japan. Of course, there are things they are not satisfied with. They couldn’t focus on one place and had to split their attention. But holding on to a greater meaning, it was a decision they made for their future. They are MYNAME, the idol group which dreams of performing on thousands of stages in Korea and Japan.
They are leader Gunwoo with a charming twist, former dance major Insoo who is in charge of entertainment, JunQ who captures women’s hearts with his boring comments, level-headed and objective commentator Seyong, and the group’s authority figure and maknae Chaejin. The five guys with individual personalities recently wrapped up their first Korean concert and became even more confident. It was just after they completed 100 performances in Japan. Getting energy in Korea and heading over to Japan, MYNAME ranked among the top on the Oricon charts and are at the peak of their popularity.

[Trans - News] MYNAME hosts fansign event for Cafe Ropla’s opening ceremony
[Daily Sports Lee Soeun]
Cafe Ropla revealed on the 18th that idol group MYNAME held a fansign event at their Gangnam outlet on the 17th.
Event venue ‘Cafe Ropla’ is a recently opened coffee franchise outlet. They are the first ‘Fun Coffeeshop’ in the country that allows customers to choose coffee beans based on their taste, and watch with their own eyes the process of making their coffee on the spot behind a clear glass panel.
A representative from Cafe Ropla said, “Today’s fansign event marks Cafe Ropla’s opening as well as the end of MYNAME’s promotions for their 2nd album. With about 300 people at the event, it was a big success.”

[Trans - News] MYNAME, First Japanese Album on Oricon Charts #3 ‘Flying Popularity’
Group MYNAME charted on Oricon’s daily and weekly charts simultaneously.
According to the recently revealed Oricorn daily and weekly charts, “We Are MYNAME” made it to #3 on both charts. This album also made it to #1 on Tower Record’s daily charts.
MYNAME released their first full-length Japanese album “We Are MYNAME” on 27th March, selling 20,787 copies on the first day hence making it to #3 of the daily charts. On 2nd April, they also made it to #3 of Oricon’s Weekly charts, proving their current popularity.
“We are extremely happy to deliver the news that we got #3 on Oricon’s daily and weekly charts, and #1 on Tower Record’s daily chart. We would like to thank everyone who always supports us. MYNAME will always work hard to be a representative group that promotes K-pop in Japan, following the footsteps of other senior singers,” promised MYNAME.
Meanwhile, MYNAME will be filming their first movie as the lead actors in Japan, followed by their concert ‘Departure’ in Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo next month.
